Built in 1958, the Capitol Center is a 12-story commercial office space in Denver’s Uptown neighborhood. To modernize the building and attract new tenants, the interior spaces underwent a renovation process and various amenities were incorporated on the penthouse level. The rooftop deck provides ample space for gatherings with stunning views of downtown Denver, the Capitol building, and the surrounding mountains.
Inspired by Denver’s unique locality, the Capitol Center's renovations blend metropolitan finishes with natural elements. To achieve this, a range of Pure+Freeform's cladding finishes were used throughout the interior and exterior spaces of the structure.
Pure+Freeform's Riverside woodgrain finish was used on the interior baffles to give the appearance of real wood with the added safety benefit of a Class A Fire Rating. The Flush Reveal cladding system is used on the exterior canopy and soffit, seamlessly blending the interior and exterior spaces.
